I finally bought my NIkon D40X along with a memory card!! I'm super duper happy. :iconashbohms: or whatever the heck account she's using adn I had a camera party to celebrate, and we took lots of pictures. I've recently posted a whole buttload of them. They can also be found on my Flickr (flickr.com/laullie).

I'm so happy! (For those of you who watched me from when I drew on the computer and junk, it's comparable to getting your first tablet.)

This journal is a quick link guide to the secrets of Pokemon, and kicking butt at it in a legitimate fashion.

A quick overview that I wrote:

Psypokes: The website that taugt me all I know:

Guide to EVs and EV Training (The Most Important):

Guide to IVs (Making sure ahead of time that your Pokemon won' suck and have potential):

That's good for now. It's a lot, and a bit complicated. It makes a lot of sense after a while. There's something called IV Breeding that you can look into, where you breed Pokemon for the best IVs, but I don't bother with that kind of stuff.
Some people think that all of this just complicates Pokemon and makes it less fun. Think of it however you want. This is how I, and everyone else who kicks butt at Pokemon without a GameShark or ActionReplay, does it.

I miss drawing.

I didn't realize it until today. but I miss drawing. I need to get myself a sketchbook. A real sketchbook. The joker is fun and easy to draw. I just look at a picture and copy it down and it looks pretty and awesome and cool and it has my own twist to it. I forgot that I could do things like that.

Most of you people subscribed to me probably did it for my pictures that I drew, scanned, then colored on photoshop. I'll have you all know I've been going to photography mostly because my free trial subscriptions to photoshop finally ran out. But now, I've found that it I can get some freetime during photography class, all I have to do is use the computers and color! So if anyone remembers my deviation 'Noriko-WIP', well, it's still in progress. It's inked and the base colors are filled in. I did the inking in like two seconds, tablet-less, so it's really ugly but hey, I'm rusty. Just things to look forward to.

The Group Effect - A Conclusion

[If you haven't read my other 'The Group Effect' journal entries, this one won't make much sense.]

It was all pretty simple, really. I didn't end up finding out too much of anything that I didn't already know. I was talking to Ashley. She told me "I don't think Adam is even really that influential over Ethan. He doesn't seem to care about him as much as you think he does." I contemplated, and she was right. That's when I realized that all of my analyzation, all of the findings that I had, every rule of fact of hierarchy was only applicable within the group. Outside the group, it didn't really matter. Things were different.

And I'll leave it at that.
